Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about using customer service templates, workflows, local browser storage, backups, accounts, analytics, ads, and data safety.

General

What is this tool for?

It helps customer service and operations staff organize reusable reply templates, notes, tags, delayed messages, and guided workflows so repeated replies can be prepared and copied faster.

Is this an AI writing tool?

No. This tool does not generate replies with AI. It helps you manage and combine content that you create or choose yourself.

Do I need an account?

No account is currently required. The app can be used directly in the browser.

Is this tool free to use?

The current website can be used without a paid plan or subscription. If that changes in the future, the website should clearly explain the change before any paid feature is introduced.

Templates and Workflows

Can I use it for customer service templates?

Yes. The main purpose is to store and organize customer service reply templates so you can reuse them in chats, emails, forms, or other support tools.

Can I create my own templates?

Yes. You can create, edit, tag, sort, copy, import, and export your own templates. The app does not automatically translate or rewrite user-created template content.

Can I organize templates with tags?

Yes. Tags and tag colors help you group templates by topic, channel, case type, priority, or any structure that matches your work.

Can I create workflows?

Yes. Workflows can guide repeated decision paths, such as choosing a reply based on a customer issue or internal condition. Workflow titles, node labels, options, and result text remain your own content.

Data, Backup, and Privacy

Where is my data stored?

In the current app, your templates, workflows, notes, delayed messages, and copy history are mainly stored in your browser on the device you are using. They are not automatically synced to an account or cloud workspace by this app.

Can I export or import my data?

Yes. You can export backups and import them later. Template data and workflow data are handled separately so you can back up each type of content more safely.

Will my data sync across devices?

No. The current app does not provide automatic cross-device sync. To move data to another browser or device, export a backup first and import it where you want to use it.

Does the website use Google Analytics or ads?

ReplyCrate currently uses Google Analytics. Analytics defaults on outside the EEA, UK, and Switzerland when Netlify can identify a standard region; it defaults off in those strict regions and when the region is unknown. You can change the setting at any time without losing app features. Advertising consent and Google AdSense remain off.

What should I do before clearing browser data?

Export a backup first. Clearing browser data, site storage, or IndexedDB/local storage may remove your saved templates, workflows, notes, delayed messages, and copy history.
